| March 2, 1998 | Draft implementation plan mailed to all special education coordinators and stakeholders for comments and feedback. Comments and suggestions need to be returned as soon as possible to Margaret Lubke's office. |
| March 21, 1998 | Last date to receive comments and suggestions for changes in draft implementation plan. |
| March 23-27, 1998 | SPIT Team meeting to revise draft implementation plan and develop final plan incorporating suggestions and comments from stakeholders and special education coordinators. |
| April 1, 1998 | Draft of final implementation plan delivered to Office of Indian Education Programs for feedback and approval. |
| April 15, 1998 | Final implementation plan submitted to OSEP for comments and feedback |
